This the venerable old 1985 BMW K100 with a Hannigan ST Fairing that I’ve been campaigning lately. A deer recently took out my Saab n so I decided to go back to riding full time. It’s tall, ungainly, & kinda goofy as motorcycles go but it is a perfect winter bike. The fairing blocks the wind, the engine heat will broil you(as in you wear full gear to protect you from the engine heat!) at a stop in summer. AND it has heated grips so during these cold rainy months in GA it is a perfect foul weather bike… And it still handles okay and I can split lanes on it if needed but it’s got a massive presence but nothing like a Goldwing or some other highway barge…
